Business Spotlight – Bella Luna Gelato

Business Spotlight – Bella Luna Gelato

Susan McNamara attended an Equipment and Concepts 2-day gelato course in 2018. After the course, Susan purchased a gelato cart and Bella Luna Gelato was launched in January of 2019. Susan has always dreamed of owning her own artisanal food company. Her love for gelato grew from being an appreciative consumer of artisanal gelato and sorbets to doing research and development on her own recipes using natural and organic ingredients. Not everyone knows that gelato has less butterfat than ice cream and has a dense, creamy texture all the better to showcase delicious flavors.

You can get your own taste of the small batch gelato and sorbettos from the custom-made Italian gelato bike/cart that Bella Luna Gelato will vend from at various farmer’s markets and taste events.

After attending Maria’ 2-day Gelato Class, Susan started Bella Luna Gelato – an artisanal gelato cart business in Colorado. She started with a beautiful custom made Procopio cart paired with a counter-top Bravo combination heat & freeze machine to make her product. What a winning combination! You can start your own business too! Learn how with us

The cart is also available for private parties and receptions. Just think – you could honor your Grad, Mom or Dad, or Bride and Groom with their favorite gelato or sorbet selections! Please contact Susan via the website www.bellalunagelato.com for more information.
