Tom & Colleen Graves

Equipment & Concepts was founded in 1992 by frozen dessert industry expert and visionary, Tom Graves. Along with his wife, Colleen they have led the company's evolution from equipment distributor to a full service equipment & training facility in Southern California. Tom and Colleen's passion of educating others to stay true to the traditional form of artisan gelato & ice cream making has served as a foundation for the company. An integral part of the team, Maria Coassin, helps fulfill this mission by sharing her knowledge and expertise of artisan gelato & ice cream making as class instructor at Equipment & Concepts.

It's important to us that we take personal interest in each and every sale. We want our customers to be 100% happy with their purchases. All of our clients have our cell numbers and it's not uncommon for us to be on the phone with a client on weekends or during vacations. "It's not what we do but why we do it".

Attending our classes with hands on training and recipe development. To CAD design and layout of shop, and lastly onsite training and support at or near the grand opening

Maria Coassin is an Italian native who studied with some of the most renowned Gelato Masters in Italy. She founded her gelateria, "Gelatiamo" in Seattle in 1996 and she continues to operate her business and develop new and exciting flavors and novelties. Gelatiamo is proof that gelato can be a real profitable business that allows you to express your love for sweets while growing your financial security.

We are very proud and fortunate to have Maria Coassin as apart of our team to help others achieve success in the frozen dessert business.
